Website: www.seneca-kansas.us Event Description: Every November, on the Friday evening after Thanksgiving, Santa and Mrs. Claus arrive on Main Street in a horse-drawn buggy.
Arriving at 6 p.m., the main street Christmas lights are turned on for the first time in the season. Christmas magic fills the air, as local musicians sing Christmas caroles. Kids stand in line as they wait their turn to sit on Santa's lap and tell him what is on their list. Parents and grandparents stand in line also, to capture pictures of their little ones with Santa.
And don't forget the treats! Santa and Mrs. Claus have a bag of goodies for every child. The stores stay open with specials for the shoppers.
