Join the Friends of the Cottonwood Ranch Saturday October 15 for Cookin' at the Cottonwood!

Festivities include:

* Pie Bake-Off

         Categories of fruit, cream, & other will be judged-one entry per person per

         category

 

* Cookie Bake-Off

         13 cookies of any one kind will be judged

-The contests above have not entry fees, anyone can enter, goods need to be turned in by 1:45 p.m. and judging is at 2 p.m., 1st/2nd/3rd places awarded in each category. The cookies and pie slices will be sold with proceeds going to Friends of the Cottonwood Ranch.

 

* Competitive Cooking & Chili judging

         Meats are brisket, chicken, ribs, and pork. Chili is it's own category.

-Judging is at 3 p.m.

 

 

*There will be a BBQ meal and tickets are as follows: $6.00 adults, $3 ages 4-12, free for those under the age of 4. Along with the meats and chili listed above there will be baked beans.

 

 

 

* Along with the cooking/baking contests, Antique Specialist Bob Jones will be on hand for antique appraisals from 1-5 p.m. You are asked to only bring two (2) items per person and will be asked to donate $3 per item to the Friends of the Cottonwood Ranch.
