The Sunflower Visual Arts Festival will be held in downtown Lucas on September 30, 2017.

The Schedule for the Festival is as follows:

11 am - Opening of the Sunflower Visual Arts Festival and unveiling of the 2017 inductees into the Kansas Movie & Thespian Hall of Fame, Lucas Theater 116 S. Main.

11:30 am - Shutter Shots 2017 Photo Exhibit and Contest opens, First Baptist Church, 111 N. Main. Closes at 3 pm.

Noon - Lucas Rural Fire Department Benefit BBQ.

1 pm - Basic Photography Workshop with area photographer Ian Shaw, Lucas Theater, 116 S. Main.

3 pm Close of Shutter Shots 2017

3 pm - Home on the Range Movie, featuring film director Ken Spurgeon, of Lone Chimney Films.

5 pm (or 15 minutes after the movie ends) Shutter Shots 2017 winner awards presentation.
