Walking into the limestone building takes you back to the time that opera was flourishing in Coolidge.  Coolidge supported four opera houses during the Golden Years.  The Peck Opera House burned to the ground after one performance.  It  was a four-story limestone and was considered the best opera house between Kansas City and Denver.
