City Hall is one of our WPA (Works Progress Administration) buildings built in 1935.
The unusual stones used on the outside of City Hall came from outcroppings from the Beaver Creek and the Kuhrt Ranch quarry.
Renovations have been done throughout the years to keep the building in good condition, keeping it as close to the original as possible on the outside. The newest construction started in early 2009 with remodeling of the interior portion of City Hall.
